Our goal is to provide students with information, resources, skills to cope with stress, and seek help for themselves or their friends. During this week we will focus on well-being, mindfulness, exercise and gratitude. All students will have the opportunity to foster positive mental health habits in their lives through positive actions, self-care, healthy behaviors, and social connections.
May- Mental Health Acceptance Month
In May, we will be celebrating Mental Health Awareness.
Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week begins Monday, May 8th to Friday, May 12th, 2023. At P.S. 121K, our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of children’s mental health and show that a positive mental health is essential to a child’s healthy development.
