Hispanic Heritage Month

From September 15 to October 15, we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States each year. The theme for 2022 is “Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation,” which recognizes the diversity within the Hispanic community and encourages all voices to be recognized.

PS/IS 121 Chancellor Shout Out

On January 4th, David Banks, the DOE Chancellor, visited PS/IS 121. He released his first monthly video today - take a look to hear 121 get a shout out at the 1:50 mark :). Great work Green Team!!

Spring Performance!

Our Spring Performance will be held on June 24th. Grades 4-8 will be performing from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Grades K-3 will be performing from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. We are allowing a maximum of two adults per student to come see the performance, however, you MUST apply for your tickets through the Google Form. Please see the attached document for more information. We look forward to seeing you there!

Field Day!

On Friday June 10th Grades K-8 will be participating in a Field Day! Hosted by Mr. Malone at St. Athanasius Field (next door) students in Grades K-4 will participate from 8:40AM- 10:40 AM and students in Grades 5-8 from 11:00AM-12:40 PM. Please dress appropriately for the weather and sport activities. Each student will be provided with a 121 Tshirt to wear on the day of Field Day. Have a great time!

Come one, come all to the Kindergarten Stepping Up Ceremony on June 21st!

Mental Health Awareness Month

As some of you know, May is Mental Health Awareness month. We will be celebrating mental health awareness by wearing green on Friday, May 20th. To promote mental health awareness within our school community, each class will be receiving a ribbon to decorate Green to be displayed around the school.

P.S. 121K Scholastic Book Fair!

The PTA is sponsoring our Spring Book Fair on May 18th and 19th! Students will be able to shop at school and browse a wide variety of texts. Parents that wish to shop may use the link below!
