Grade 5 Students took the igloo challenge
grade 5 students are studying erosion and engineering a solution to an erosion problem at Snug Harbor in Staten Island.
Public Service Announcement Research project
Grade 5 is researching human rights challenges around the world. They are learning to become advocates for a specific human right. They will be conducting research and creating their own public service announcement in November and December. We look forward to presenting them in January.
Grade 5 will be doing field work and working with experts at Snug Harbor throughout the year. They will be exploring adaptations and biomes.
Project green reach
Grade 5 will be working with Project Green Reach at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens.
