What can we do to make the living conditions for animals in captivity/domestic animals better? How can we understand the relationships between animals and their caregiver?
Students will present to their peers in class and other classes in the school as well as and teachers and parents about creating suitable habitats for animals and proper ways to care for animals.
Classes can also create a flyer to send home about how to properly care for different species of animals. Flyers can be shared with school community and parents. A Tuesday afternoon will be planned for parents to come in and meet the classroom pet and learn about we care for our pet.
What can we do to help living things grow and thrive during their life cycle?

Students will research the life cycle of an animal or plant of their choice. They will gather facts and other information about their topic.
Students will use their research findings to create an accurate representation of a life cycle process as well as write in informative piece detailing the steps/stages in the process.
